What do you want your TollFreeExpress account to do?

I want my toll free number to ring to multiple locations at the same time.

  1. To manage your account online, go to www.tollfreeexpress.com.
  2. Enter your username and password (format is user@tollfreeexpress.com) in the control panel login area found in the main page of thewebsite.
  3. To manage your toll free number, click on Toll Free Services.
  4. You need to create a “Contact” to input contact details. To do this, click on “User Accounts”.
  5. Click on New Contact and fill out all information for that new account
  6. Enter an extension number. This extension is the user’s extension number in your phone menu.
  7. Enter a numeric password.
  8. Enter the email address that you want to be the recipient of all voicemails for the extension specified.
  9. Enter all the phone numbers you want to forward / route the toll free calls to once calls come in.
  10. Click on “Call Phone 1 to 4 at the same time”. This enables the Tollfreeexpress system to route the toll free call to 4 numbers specified. This way, all 4 phones will ring and you can pick up the phone call depending on your location.
  11. Click on “Save” to save all changes.
  12. After creating the “Contact”, you need to create a “Menu”. This section will specify the call flow that the Tollfreeexpress system will follow once a call goes thru our switches. To manage your call flow, click on “System Menus”.
  13. You need to create a new “Menu” first before you can configure the call flow. To create a new “Menu”, click on “New Menu”.
  14. Enter any name you want to call the menu you want to create.
  15. Click on “Save” to save the menu.
  16. To configure your menu, click on “Callflow”.
  17. Enter “s” as your extension name. “s” means “starting point”. It is the first action our phone system is set to execute upon receipt of a call.
  18. Proceed to the “Action” section and choose the action you want to be performed first.
  19. Aux Action is the 2nd action that will be performed after your first action. You may leave it to do nothing or specify a preferred action.
  20. Click on “Add” to save the changes.
  21. After creating a menu, go to “Route Calls”. This section will set your toll free number to be routed to a specific call flow you choose.
  22. Map your toll free number to the preferred call flow. You may leave “Time Parameter” and “Caller ID” sections empty for this setting.
  23. Click on “Add” to route your calls.

I want my toll free number to ring to my home phone number.

  1. To manage your account online, go to www.tollfreeexpress.com.
  2. Enter your username and password (format is user@tollfreeexpress.com) in the control panel login area found in the main page of the website.
  3. To manage your toll free number, click on Toll Free Services.
  4. You need to create a “Contact” to input contact details. To do this, click on “User Accounts”.

In this situation, please enter your home phone number in Phone 1 area so that all calls going to your toll free number will ring to your home phone.

I want to have my own recording played when users call my toll free number.

  1. To manage your account online, go to www.tollfreeexpress.com.
  2. Enter your username and password (format is user@tollfreeexpress.com) in the control panel login area found in the main page of the website.
  3. To manage your toll free number, click on Toll Free Services.
  4. There are 2 ways of recording a greeting: a. Record using your computer b. Record using the telephone.
  • A.To record using the computer:
    1. Once you are inside your online account, “Toll Free Services” menu, click “Sound Files”.
    2. To search for sound files saved in your computer’s local directory, click on “Browse”.
    3. Select a file (.wav or gsm) that is 8 khz. Tollfreeexpress does not recognize any other file size. Your recording will sound garbled if the file size is not 8khz.
    4. Click on “Upload”.
    5. To play the sound file as the first action your account will execute upon receipt of a call, click on “System Menus”.
    6. To create a menu that specifies that a sound file should be played first, click on “New Menu”.
    7. Enter any name. Click on “Save”.
    8. To configure your menu, click on “Callflow”.
    9. Enter “s” as your extension name. “s” means “starting point”. It is the first action our phone system is set to execute upon receipt of a call.
    10. Set the action to play the sound file.
    11. Aux Action is the 2nd action that will be performed after your first action. You may leave it to do nothing or specify a preferred action.

  • B.To record using the telephone:
    1. Call 1800 449 0335
    2. Listen to voice instructions
    3. To play the sound file as the first action your account will execute upon receipt of a call, click on “System Menus”.
    4. To create a menu that specifies that a sound file should be played first, click on “New Menu”.
    5. Enter any name. Click on “Save”.
    6. To configure your menu, click on “Callflow”.
    7. Enter “s” as your extension name. “s” means “starting point”. It is the first action our phone system is set to execute upon receipt of a call.
    8. Set the action to play the sound file, “ext name, recorded from telephone”.
    9. Aux Action is the 2nd action that will be performed after your first action. You may leave it to do nothing or specify a preferred action.
    10. Click on “Add” to save the changes.
    11. After creating a menu, go to “Route Calls”. This section will set your toll free number to be routed to a specific call flow you choose.
    12. Map your toll free number to the preferred call flow. You may leave “Time Parameter” and “Caller ID” sections empty for this setting.
    13. Click on “Add” to route your calls.

I want my toll free number to forward to another toll free number.

  • Sorry, it is against FCC regulations to route a toll free number to another toll free number.

 

I want to setup my voicemail to be emailed to my email address.

  1. To manage your account online, go to www.tollfreeexpress.com.
  2. Enter your username and password (format is user@tollfreeexpress.com) in the control panel login area found in the main page of the website.
  3. To manage your toll free number, click on Toll Free Services.
  4. You need to create a “Contact” to input contact details. To do this, click on “User Accounts”.
  5. Click on New Contact and fill out all information for that new account.
  6. Enter an extension number. This extension is the user’s extension number in your phone menu.
  7. Enter a numeric password.
  8. Enter the email address that you want to be the recipient of all voicemails for the extension specified.
  9. Put a check on “Email All Voicemail”. This action will lead to all voicemail messages from callers to be auto-forwarded to the email address specified. The messages will be in .wav format and users can listen to these messages thru their computers.

 

I want to set a time out before a call gets disconnected.

  1. To manage your account online, go to www.tollfreeexpress.com.
  2. Enter your username and password (format is user@tollfreeexpress.com) in the control panel login area found in the main page of the website.
  3. To manage your toll free number, click on Toll Free Services.
  4. You need to create a “Contact” to input contact details. To do this, click on “User Accounts”.
  5. Click on New Contact and fill out all information for that new account.
  6. Enter an extension number. This extension is the user’s extension number in your phone menu.
  7. Enter a numeric password.
  8. Enter the email address that you want to be the recipient of all voicemails for the extension specified.
  9. Set the “Timeout” to the number of seconds you want the system to stay connected to the caller till it goes to the default action. This will set the delay before the system disconnects the call.

I want to see the number of the person calling me.

  1. To manage your account online, go to www.tollfreeexpress.com.
  2. Enter your username and password (format is user@tollfreeexpress.com) in the control panel login area found in the main page of the website.
  3. To manage your toll free number, click on Toll Free Services.
  4. You need to create a “Contact” to input contact details. To do this, click on “User Accounts”.
  5. Click on New Contact and fill out all information for that new account.
  6. Enter an extension number. This extension is the user’s extension number in your phone menu.
  7. Enter a numeric password.
  8. Enter the email address that you want to be the recipient of all voicemails for the extension specified.
  9. Set the “Caller ID” function to “Forward the Caller’s ID”. This way, your phone’s caller ID displays the number of the person calling you.

 

I want to know if I am getting a toll free call.

  1. To manage your account online, go to www.tollfreeexpress.com.
  2. Enter your username and password (format is user@tollfreeexpress.com) in the control panel login area found in the main page of the website.
  3. To manage your toll free number, click on Toll Free Services.
  4. You need to create a “Contact” to input contact details. To do this, click on “User Accounts”.
  5. Click on New Contact and fill out all information for that new account.
  6. Enter an extension number. This extension is the user’s extension number in your phone menu.
  7. Enter a numeric password.
  8. Enter the email address that you want to be the recipient of all voicemails for the extension specified.
  9. Set the “Caller ID” function to “Send the Caller ID (toll free number)”. This way, you phone’s caller ID displays the number of the person calling you.

 

I don’t want a certain number to reach me.

  1. To manage your account online, go to www.tollfreeexpress.com.
  2. Enter your username and password (format is user@tollfreeexpress.com) in the control panel login area found in the main page of the website.
  3. To manage your toll free number, click on Toll Free Services.
  4. You need to create a new “Menu” first before you can configure the call flow. To create a new “Menu”, click on “New Menu”. This section will specify the call flow that the Tollfreeexpress system will follow once a call goes thru our switches. To manage your call flow, click on “System Menus”.
  5. Enter any name you want to call the menu you want to create.
  6. Click on “Save” to save the menu.
  7. To configure your menu, click on “Callflow”.
  8. Enter “s” as your extension name. “s” means “starting point”. It is the first action our phone system is set to execute upon receipt of a call.
  9. Proceed to the “Action” section and choose the action you want to be performed first. In this specific location, to drop the call of the unwanted caller, choose “Hang up”.
  10. Click on “Add” to save the changes.
  11. After creating a menu, go to “Route Calls”. This section will set your toll free number to be routed to a specific call flow you choose.
  12. Map your toll free number to the preferred call flow. In this case, map your toll free number to the menu where you specified “Hang up” as starting action.
  13. Enter the number of the unwanted caller. The format is xxxxxxxxxx (no dashes, no periods, no spaces in between the numbers and do not add 1 at the beginning of the number).
  14. Click on “Add” to route your calls.
