Local Phone Company Information
NET Inc Long Distance

NET Inc OUTBOUND (Direct dial) Long distance has different In-State rates depending on who your "local phone" company is. There are three tiers: A, B and C. Tier A are former "baby bell" companies or what is known as RBOC (Regional Bell Operating Company).
Interstate Rate (Continetal USA) is still 3.5 cents for all Tiers of local phone service.
ALL Toll Free ONLY accounts use Tier A for In-state rates
regardless of local phone company

Tier A is RBOC local phone companies. (Bell South, SBC, Qwest, Verizon from mostly Northest USA).

Tier B is Broadwing (Formally Cincinnati Bell), Frontier, SNET, Sprint/United and Verizon (Formerly GTE)

Tier C are all others, including cable company as a local phone.

For cell phones use Tier A rate schedule. Resold "local" service may still qualify for Tier A if they formally were with an RBOC.
