TOLL FREE programs for the state of CALIFORNIA
IN-STATE rate is defined as a call that originates in the same state as where the toll free call terminates.
Inter-State are calls that originate from outside the state where the call terminates. Rate is for CONTINENTAL USA. Calls FROM Alaska, Hawaii and/or Canada are a different rate and vary GREATLY depending on the vendor. The NET INC Program offers the best program for these areas.
RBOC - Programs that have GREEN background REQUIRE that the RTN (ring-to-number) be with a local phone company that is a former baby bell (SBC, QWest, Bell South and Southwest Bell, Verizon (not former GTE). This is known as
RBOC. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. Rate will change upwards if the RTN changes to a non-RBOC number. No RTN to a cell phone, No RTN to Voice-over IP numbers and no RTN to a non-baby bell local phone numbers.
Any Phone - Programs that have the light yellow background can have any RTN. OK for cell phones, Voice over IP numbers or local phones that are either
RBOC or non-RBOC.
Only the Toll Free Express offers VOICE MAIL, multiple RTNs, virtual office greetings or other programmable functions. True **FOLLOW ME ** service.
All the others are just "bare bones". You get a toll free number which rings directly to a specific number. While the RTN is changeable, you have to call customer service to have it done. If you have voice mail or "roll over" at your RTN, then you will continue to have it when some one calls your toll free number.
All programs (except Toll Free Express) offer same rates for outbound LONG DISTANCE.
